Hello, I'm Tara.
I've spent much of my life helping people navigate change as a school leader, coach, educator, or simply another human figuring things out alongside them. I believe most people already have more wisdom, resilience, and capability than they realize. Sometimes what they need isn't advice. They need space to think, someone to listen deeply, and a partner who can help them see themselves and their situation from a new perspective. As a coach, I work with people who are navigating transitions, seeking greater clarity, building confidence, managing overwhelm, exploring leadership, or simply trying to create a life that feels more aligned with who they are. I have particular experience supporting neurodivergent adults, leaders, educators, and people who often find themselves caring for everyone else while struggling to make space for themselves. Before becoming a professional coach, I spent more than fifteen years leading schools and developing people. That experience taught me that growth rarely comes from having all the answers. It comes from curiosity, reflection, courage, and small intentional steps forward. My coaching style is thoughtful, practical, and compassionate. I ask questions that help people uncover what matters most, challenge assumptions that may no longer serve them, and move toward meaningful action. Outside of coaching, you'll often find me reading, writing, exploring leadership and human development, traveling, or spending time in nature. I'm endlessly fascinated by how people grow, learn, and create change in their lives. If you're looking for a coach who will meet you where you are while helping you move toward where you want to be, I'd love to connect.

My approach to your first session
Our first session isn't about adding another strategy or creating a longer to-do list. It's about creating space to understand what's really happening. We'll begin by exploring what brought you to coaching, what feels most important in your life right now, and what you would like to be different. Together, we'll look beneath the surface at the patterns, assumptions, challenges, and circumstances that may be influencing your experience. You can expect me to ask thoughtful questions, listen deeply, challenge perspectives when helpful, and help you connect dots that may not yet be visible. There is no pressure to have everything figured out before we meet. By the end of our first conversation, my hope is that you leave with: * Greater clarity about what matters most * A deeper understanding of what's helping or hindering your progress * One or two meaningful next steps that feel achievable and aligned * A sense of possibility about the path ahead Often the most important outcome of a first session isn't having all the answers—it's seeing your situation differently enough to know where to begin.
